Banana-rama
Celebrities often complain about being harassed and not being left alone. Now ten celebrities really will be quaking in their skins as they prepare to be chased around London by over 1,500 fundraising runners dressed as a banana.
These stars from the world of Film & TV are taking part in the ‘Chiquita Bananaman Chase’ in East London on June 25. They have pledged their support to help raise money for Leukemia Research.
In the chase, each of the stars will be setting off at different times and the runners will have to try and finish ahead of as many of the celebs as possible. Money raised will go towards Leukemia Research’s commitment to raise £100 million to go to laboratory research & clinical trials over the next five years.
Shauna MacDonald from hit BBC drama ‘Spooks’, and Tony Audenshaw & Ursula Marsden from Emmerdale are known to be taking part. To read more about the event, how to get involved or to get involved with Leukemia Research visit: www.lrf.org.uk
