There is a room available in a beautifully furnished garden flat in NW5 for 2 months during July & August 2008!

This is a summer short term let in a lovely 2 bedroom flat in a quiet crescent in Kentish Town. Flat has hi def full cable package, internet wi fi etc…
The flat has 2 gardens at the front and the back of the house.

The room can fit a double bed and has built in wardrobes. Alternatively the room can be left unfurnished if preferred.

The location is a 5 minute walk to Kentish Town tube station. It is also a 10-15 minute walk to Camden, Primrose Hill, Highgate and Hampstead Heath.

The flat will be shared with one easy going English man.

The price is £200 per week for a single person and £250 per week for a couple, all bills are included.

EL MINISTERIO DE EDUCACION POLITICA SOCIAL Y DEPORTE CONVOCA AYUDAS PARA REALIZAR CURSOS DE INGLES EN EL EXTRANJERO DESTINADAS A MAESTROS Y ESTUDIANTES DE ULTIMO CURSO DE  MAGISTERIO CON NACIONALIDAD ESPAÑOLA.

Se convocan un máximo de 5.000 ayudas de 4.000 euros para la estancia y realización de un curso de inglés de al menos 12 semanas de duración, con un mínimo de 20 horas lectivas semanales entre el 1 de septiembre de 2008 y el 31 de agosto del año 2009 en países cuya lengua oficial sea el inglés tales como Australia, Canadá, EEUU, Malta, Nueva Zelanda, Reino Unido e Irlanda.

La fecha límite de presentación de solicitudes es el 27 de Junio de 2008

Los posibles candidatos que opten a estas ayudas serán aquellos nacidos después del 31 de diciembre de 1977 y que hayan finalizado la diplomatura de Magisterio en alguno de los cuatro últimos cursos académicos comprendidos entre 2006-2007, 2005-2006, 2004-2005 ó 2003-2004, o bien haber superado, la fecha de finalización del plazo de presentación de solicitudes, el 65 por ciento de los créditos en alguna especialidad de la diplomatura de Maestro y estar matriculado en el curso 2007-2008 de la totalidad de los créditos que le resten para finalizar dichos estudios.

Los interesados que sean seleccionados y deseen obtener una de las ayudas, deberán cumplimentar el modelo de solicitud que aparece en el siguiente enlace:  http://www.mepsyd.es/mecd/jsp/plantilla.jsp?area=becas&id=455

Este modelo deberá ser impreso y cumplimentado por el secretario del centro universitario o el jefe de secretaría en el que hayan cursado o estén cursando sus estudios y remitirlo una vez firmado a la Subdirección General de Becas y Promoción Educativa  hasta el día 27 de junio de 2008 inclusive.

En el plazo máximo de tres meses, desde la finalización del plazo de presentación de solicitudes, se resolverá el procedimiento.

Una vez se publiquen los beneficiarios de la ayuda y deseen solicitarla, puedes reservar tu plaza con Answer English para un programa de curso de inglés y alojamiento en el extranjero por un importe mínimo de 300 euros. El justificante deberá ser enviado a la Subdirección General de Becas y Promoción Educativa en el plazo indicado.

Las relaciones de los adjudicatarios de las ayudas se harán públicas a través del Boletín Oficial del Estado y de la página web del Ministerio de Educación, Política Social y Deporte.

Los beneficiarios deberán aportar, antes del 31 de diciembre de 2009, acreditación de la realización del curso mediante certificación original de la escuela en la que se realizó el curso detallando la duración del mismo (mínimo doce semanas) y el número de horas lectivas semanales (mínimo veinte horas semanales).

London -Wimbledon has sold out its courses in the month of July!  Normally Wimbledon is associated with selling out its tickets to the famous tennis tournament but the English school has proven it too can compete!
