This course is aimed at:

•    Students who have a specific interest in law and speak English as a second language
•    Overseas law students who are planning or simply considering practising in the UK
•    Experienced practising lawyers who would like to improve their English language in a legal context
•    Students wishing to take the Cambridge ILEC exam

Required language level: Upper Intermediate or above

This course, running as a 12 week evening course, includes preparation for the Cambridge ILEC exam, an overview of the English legal system and a full range of English language writing, listening, reading, speaking & grammar activities – all of which specifically focus on the key aspects of UK law.

Evening course runs Tuesday & Thursday evenings 6 to 8pm.

Fees: £750 plus £40 registration fee.

Course tutors are qualified to a minimum of CELTA (English teaching) and law degree level.
