The Teachers Refresher course will help you to refresh your own language and learn new up-to-date teaching methods.  By doing this course you can meet other overseas teachers from other part of the world of the workd to exchange your experience.  Also you learn about British culture.

You will cover phonology & connected speech; writing - cohesion & coherence; error correction; listening - authentic texts & modern materials. If you are from the EU you can apply for Comenius/Grundtvig Funding with these Teachers Refreshers Course.

These courses are intended for overseas teachers of English working in primary or secondary and adult education.  The schools  have fixed start dates for 2 week courses in July, August, October or November.  The most common locations are London – Muswell Hill or Oxford – Lake.

Would you like your children to improve their English?

English is the most important language in the world so it is vital that children start as soon as possible to learn this language.

A great possibility for pupils to improve their English is the Summer School Regent’s Park which offers English courses for children between 3 and 11.

The course: Our Summer School in London is a safe school where the children will be studying with students of a similar age in a friendly and supportive environment.  The school runs the course in the months June, July and August.  The main focus is for students to improve their English through fun activities.

As well as General English, learners have opportunities to develop English through other disciplines like Art, Drama, Science, Maths and Geography.  A typical day is from 09:00 to 15:20 and the lunch is included.

The Activities: An afternoon of sport is also included where students practise hand-eye co-ordination and undertake aerobic exercise, as well as sports such as football and softball.

Summer school students aged 5 years and above have one “Discover London” trip each week to museums, galleries and famous historical sites. The focus is on using London as an outdoor classroom.

The fees for 2 weeks are £780 plus £80 registration fee.

Homestays for 3 to 11 year olds can be arranged if a parent accompanies the child. The accommodations are carefully selected and regularly inspected. Please Contact Us for more information.

Would you like your children to feel more confident with their English?

Our school Gloucester Gate in London has the perfect course for your children between 11 - 17 years.  With Answer English your children can improve their English whilst making friends and having fun.

The Course: The course is available in June, July and August and the best is: all levels are accepted.  Your children can improve their English in a fun environment with lots of activities after the English classes in the morning.
The course is available from 2 to 9 weeks and lunch, all course materials, testing on arrival and certificates are included.  The English lessons are from 09:00 to 12:20, then one hour lunch time and in the afternoon till 16:40 they have their fun activities.

After doing this course your children will feel much more confident in using their English.  On this course they focus on the English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.  The students are also working on a weekly project related to excursions.

The Activities: For three afternoons students play sports, do creative arts and play language games.  For two afternoons students go on “Discover London” trips - places can include: the Science Museum, Covent Garden, the British Museum.  On Saturdays students go on “Discover England” - destinations can include: Cambridge, Brighton, Oxford.

The fees for 2 weeks are £780 plus £80 registration fee.  The school also arrange Homestays which are carefully selected and regularly inspected.
