This Saturday is the Boat Race. An English tradition dating back to 1829, Cambridge and Oxford University have been racing against each other. The race takes place on the Thames river. Over 250,000 spectators crowd the banks of the Thames from Putney to Mortlake to witness the action. The four and a quarter mile course takes around 18 minutes to complete.
Another great example of what you can do if you study in london. If you are interested in an action packed summer course we offer that as well.

Next week is Easter and its traditionally the time when most people start planning their summer holidays. What are your summer plans? I will be staying in lovely london. The summer here is unrivalled. We have the Notting Hill Carnival during the August Bank Holiday.

Or you can relax in the wonderful picturesque Hyde Park (when the weather is great). Many people will probably end up playing football after watching the stars perform in the World Cup.

What is a summer without music? There are many opportunites to listen to music in london but the best is probably a music festival. There is the lovebox festival in Victoria park.

Or you could take english lessons in london.

Today is a wonderful spring day in london. Perfect for a walk around the city. Time Out recommends the walk from Primrose Hill to Parliment Hill Fields. Primrose Hill is one of London’s hidden secrets, as you can see by the view it is a great way to watch the sunset in the Capital.

Hello,
My name is Inie and i will be updating the blog from time to time. Today is St Patrick’s day. A yearly celebration of Ireland and it’s culture. Traditionally people tend to wear green or a shamrock on their clothes to celebrate the day.
In London there will be a parade featuring floats, pipers and costumed dancers at Wilsden Green. Across the world there will be parade, festivals and plenty of Guiness.

Don’t forget that our schools in Dublin will be celebrating as well.
