Election Fever
Last week Gordon Brown, the prime minister, announced that the general election is taking place on may 6th. The three main political parties Labour, Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats are all pushing to try and become the main party in the house of commons in Westminister.
The three leaders are incredibly different. Gordon Brown who studied at the University of Edinburgh is the current Prime Minister and Labour leader. David Cameron, who studied in Oxford, is the conservative leader. Nick Clegg, the leader of the Liberal Democrats studied in Cambridge.
