Buy a UK SIM card for your mobile phone
these are ‘pay as you go’ and make calls to UK numbers much cheaper. If you receive a call on your mobile from a Country outside the UK (or from a foreign registered mobile) you are charged for the call: this makes it very expensive. With a UK SIM you are not charged for income calls.
Usually you don’t have to pay for the SIM card, you are only charged for the credit you top up.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper Picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
She sells seashells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I’m sure she sells seashore shells.
