Homestay accommodation is where you stay with a host in flat or house. You can combine quality, friendliness and very good value for money. You can also practise your English when you have breakfast and dinner with the host. There are various different options according to your budget and your individual preferences.

Residence

Residences are great places for making friends and meeting lots of people from all over the world. Vincent House is a striking, Art Deco building situated in an attractive London square. It can accommodate up to 140 residents. Vincent House is very close to Notting Hill Gate Underground station and within easy reach of bus routes to Heathrow Airport. It is about 20 minutes walk from the school in Holland Park Gardens. This residence is particularly popular with more mature students.

Vincent House offers single rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms are decent size, plainly decorated with central heating. Towels are provided and each room has a desk and chair at which to study. The rooms do not have televisions or radios. There is a bar, a small library, a residents' dining room and a peaceful garden. There are no cooking facilities, but each bedroom has facilities for making hot drinks.

There are special rates at Vincent House for long term bookings. If you give them a booking of 10 weeks or more they will give you a special rate, which includes breakfast and dinner.  These are: £238 per week for the first 4 weeks, £215.60 per week for the following weeks.

Studio

Each of the studio apartments is self contained with its own bathroom with bath and shower, and a small kitchen or kitchenette which contains a basic amount of crockery and utensils, a hob, oven and microwave. There is TV with UK terrestrial channels and some additional Sky (satellite) channels, and a phone in each studio. There is a lift to all floors.

You can access your apartment 24 hours a day. Wireless broadband is available at a cost of £5 per day, £15 per week or £40 per month. Coin operated washing and drying machines are available for use. A typical studio is 23 squares metres, and 31 squares metres for a double or a twin Studio. Each studio is equipped with double beds except for the twin studio where there is 2 single beds.

Hotel

Hotels in London can be expensive and hard to find - especially during the busy summer season. Hilton - London Kensington is very conveniently situated – a three-minute walk from the school. All rooms have direct-dial phone and voice mail. There is satellite television including German and Japanese channels. A same-day laundry service is available, and fax and secretarial assistance is provided by a business centre in the reception during office hours, at a small extra charge. The rates include full English breakfast.
