Did you know?
Centre Point is a very tall concrete and glass building and was one of the first skyscrapers to come to London. At the time it was built it caused a lot of controversy as traditionally London buildings were not allowed to reach the 32 floors it eventually rose to on its completion. Harry Hyams the property tycoon who built Centre Point at first waited for a single tenant to fill the building at his £1,250,000 a year price tag. No one was willing to pay so much rent and the building remained empty for years. Centre Point came to be seen as a symbol of greed in the property industry.
Lunch time: There is a small cafeteria at the school. Located on Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street are literally hundreds of cafes to choose from with reasonably priced cuisine from all over the world.
After-class entertainment: London's nightlife is extremely varied and you won’t be disappointed. From London – Oxford Street you can reach the many of the live music venues, theatres, trendy bars, pubs and clubs of Soho offering entertainment long into the night.
