This is our most popular course! 20 lessons (15 hours) English tuition per week in a group at your level from 09.00 - 12.30, Mondays to Fridays.
Aimed at: Students of all ages who are looking to improve their confidence at English. This course is available to students of Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced levels. This course is not appropriate for Total Beginners.
Benefits of doing this course: You will cover the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). If you want to be more confident at communicating your ideas and views in different situations then this is the course for you. You will be able to give presentations, discuss the news, debate important topics and talk with people with different levels of English.
Methodology: Totnes School favours using text books, newspapers, audio recordings, video / DVD, the Internet and e-learning.

- Minimum age: 17 years old
- Level available: Elementary - Advanced
- Number of classes per week: 20 Classes
- Length of 1 class: 45 Minutes, held in blocks of 1.5 hours
- Time: 09:00 – 12:30
- Course start dates: Any Monday
- Bank Holidays: 02/04, 05/04, 03/05, 31/05, 30/08. In weeks with a Bank Holiday Monday, courses begin on the following day. However you can book yourself on an all-day excursion. Lessons are not recouped for bank holidays. The school will be closed between the 18/12/10 and the 02/01/10.
- Minimum course length: 2 weeks
- High season: Monday 28th June to Friday 27th August 2010 – see Summer General English
- Included: Fees include: Tuition, loan of course book and materials, testing and orientation, welcome pack, weekly teacher- led self- access and e-learning sessions, monthly tutorials and tests for long-term students and certificate of attendance.
- Total weekly course time: 15 hours. This course meets the minimum 15 hour requirement for Visa Students.
