Homestay

Homestay accommodation is where you stay with a host in flat or house. All host families have been selected by the school and are located in the same school area (many are within walking distance). Choosing this option offers you the opportunity to practise your English and experience British culture. There are various different options according to your budget and your individual preferences.

Shared Flat

Shared flats are ideal for students that wish to live with other students from London - Camden and have their own independence. They are located just a few minutes’ walking distance from school, and are for students of 18 years and over. You will be responsible for making your own breakfast and dinner. You must always respect the rules of the flat but you can feel free to come and go as you please. These flats are well furnished with a desk where you can study, desk lamp, TV-video, kitchen cutlery & crockery, microwave, iron and ironing board; free Wi-Fi broadband Internet access is provided (although not guaranteed). The kitchen, toilet and bathroom are cleaned weekly.

Summer Residence

Alliance House is a great place for making friends and meeting lots of people from all over the world. This residence offers individual rooms with their own private bathroom. Alliance House is on Newington Green, a pleasant place where you can find all facilities as local shops, cafes and bars. There are regular bus services to central London and the West End. The rooms are well equipped with wardrobe, desk and chairs. Each room forms part of a flat of 5, 6 or 7 individual rooms with a shared kitchen. There are 2 cookers, 2 fridge/freezers, 1 microwave, and cupboards for each resident in every kitchen. Kitchen utensils, plates, bowls and cutlery are provided for each student.

Studio

Studio flats offer the greatest independence for language students that value their privacy and wish to live by themselves.  These studio flats are located in Belsize Park, two stops on the Underground or around ten to fifteen minutes on the bus. 

They are for students of 18 years and over. You will be responsible for making your own breakfast and dinner. You must always respect the rules of the studio. The studios have Internet wi-fi, tv and there is a comunal coin operated lauderette.  You have a choice between Single, Double and some Twin studios.

Executive Hotel Accommodation

The Holiday Inn Camden Lock is a modern stylish hotel, located in the heart of Camden Town, just 5 minutes’ walk from the school. If you prefer to have complete independence and not share your accommodation with other students or British families then a hotel is the best option for you. All of the spacious 130 bedrooms are air-conditioned and breakfast is included in the price of the room.

Hostel

Many language students like to stay in a hostel if they are in London for a short stay, or when moving to London as a relatively cheap temporary option until they move into a shared flat. The St Christopher Youth Hostel is located in Zone 2, within 3 minutes’ walk of London - Camden School. The St Christopher Youth Hostel offers basic en suite dormitory rooms accommodating between 6 and 10 people that are cleaned daily. Shower room and toilet facilities are located on all floors. If you consider yourself as more of a back-packer then St Christopher's Youth Hostel is the perfect place for young travellers to meet and mix with other like-minded people from all over the world. Facilities include TV room, bar and restaurant.
