General English Courses 15 lessons
This General English course is 15 classes per week and follows a syllabus which focuses on the four English language skills. The programme also includes grammar, pronunciation & functional language. You will be able to use English in practical everyday situations and London - Camden will do their best to make sure you learn the kind of language that will help you succeed in the world today.
Aimed at: Students who wish to develop their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and practise all the language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing. This course is available to students of Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. This course is not appropriate for Total Beginners.
Benefits of doing this course: If you have any specific areas you have difficulty with the teachers are happy to make time to go through these in the course. The courses are fun and will keep you entertained so you will have an enjoyable learning experience. You will not just build up your grammar base but also be able to use your English in real life situations.
Methodology: London - Camden School favours using course books, articles, audio recordings, study material, work sheets and vocabulary books.

- Course start dates: Any Monday
- Bank Holidays: 02/04, 05/04, 13/04, 03/05, 31/05 and 30/08/2010. In weeks with a Bank Holiday Monday, courses begin on the following day. Lessons are not recouped for bank holidays.
- Minimum course length: 1 week
- Included in the course fees: Library, Internet access, Coffee/tea/juice, Use of kitchen (microwave, fridge), Printing (up to 5 sheets per day), Lesson materials, CV checking, Social programme, Paperwork – school letters for council tax, visa, etc, End of course certificate. Not included in the fees: Examination fees, External social events, Bank account opening fee, Discount travel card application fee £10
- Total weekly course time: 12 hours 30 minutes. This course does not meet the minimum 15 hour requirement for Visa Students.
