These scheduled 2 week courses are for overseas teachers of English who want to improve their own knowledge of the English language, discover new methodology in use in the UK, and learn about British culture. You will cover phonology & connected speech; writing - cohesion & coherence; error correction; listening - authentic texts & modern materials. If you are from the EU you can apply for Comenius Funding with this Teachers Refreshers Course.
Aimed at: This course is intended for overseas teachers of English working in secondary and adult education. Teachers applying for this course should have an Upper Intermediate level of English or higher. If you are from a country which is a member of the European Union, you can apply for Comenius 2.2c or Grundtvig 3 funding. This course appears in the Lifelong Learning Programme (formerly Socrates) database with the course code UK-2007-486-7 and funding is available to help you with the cost of your course and living expenses while in London.
