Did you know?
Piccadilly Circus derives its name from a Pickadil a frilly collar that was popular in the seventeenth century. One London tailor called Robert Baker became wealthy from making Pickadils and bought property in the area. This was mockingly called ‘Piccadilly Hall’ and although the building was later demolished the name stuck!
Lunch Time: There is a small café in the Piccadilly Centre of London – West End. Students tend to take lunch there or get something from the literally hundreds of cafes, bars, supermarkets and restaurants located around the school.
After-Class Entertainment: There are so many places to choose from! From the Piccadilly Centre you can head to Soho, Covent Garden and Leicester Square and go to pubs, trendy bars or late-opening nightclubs.
