IELTS
If you are planning on going to an English speaking university or college you will need to achieve a high IELTS score. By studying in London - Wimbledon’s dynamic classes taught by extremely experienced Academic English teachers you will have the best chance of achieving your dream. You will learn all the skills necessary for academic study, prepare for the IELTS examination, take practice exam papers & learn the techniques to ensure you get the IELTS score you need.
Aimed at: Students looking to prepare themselves fully for the IELTS examination. This course is available to students of Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. This course is not appropriate for Total Beginners, Elementary, Pre-intermediate or Intermediate.
Benefits of Doing this Course: This course permits you to progress to a good level in all areas of English including grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing and also prepare for the exams you need if you plan to go to an English speaking college or university.
Methodology: Coursebook, text book and materials, past examination papers and sitting a timed mock examination so you know what to expect. You are also provided with at least two hours of homework per day in order to continue your learning outside the classroom.

- Time: 9:15 - 12:55 with two afternoons 13:55-15:45
- Course Start Dates: 6 weeks: 21/06, 01/11; 10 weeks: 11/01/2009, 22/03, 19/04, 04/10
- Bank Holidays: 01/01, 10/04, 13/04, 04/05, 25/05, 31/08, 25/12 and 28/12. In weeks with a Bank Holiday Monday, courses begin on the following day. Lessons are not recouped for bank holidays. The school will be closed between the 21/12/09 and the 03/01/10.
- Minimum Course Length: 6 or 10 weeks
- Included in the course fees: Main textbooks, Internet access and WiFi, Teaching materials, Welcome pack, Use of self-access centre and libraries, Academic Counselling and University Placement service, Certificates, Student card, School based social activities. What is NOT included: Examination entry fees, Examination Practice books, Workbooks, External social activities.
- Total weekly course time: 20 hours 00 minutes. This course meets the minimum 15 hour requirement for Visa Students.
