Emergenza
Chi devo contattare in caso di emergenza?
Se è un'emergenza assoluta (la tua vita o quella di un amico è in pericolo) devi chiamare il 999 da qualsiasi telefono e chiedere di polizia, ambulanza o vigili del fuoco. Cerca di rimanere calmo e di rispondere alle domande che ti vengono poste nel modo migliore possibile. Normalmente ti viene chiesto di descrivere quello che è successo e dove ti trovi. Se sei malato fallo sapere alla famiglia che ti ospita o a chi si trova alla reception del tuo residence. Così potranno chiamare un medico per te. Fai sapere anche a noi il più presto possibile, così possiamo informare la tua scuola. What is the best way to travel within London?
London has an incredible public transport system. To ensure that you pay the cheapest fare we recommend that you get yourself an Oyster Card. This is an electronic “smartcard” that replaces paper tickets and can be used on the Underground, trams, buses, DLR, London Overground and some national rail services in London. Using an Oyster Card saves you money and time because it always automatically calculates the cheapest fare for the journeys you make in a day and you just need to top it up with cash or renew your Travelcard/Bus Pass when needed and in advance!
